Spank the Monkey

How fast can you Spank the Monkey?

This is a really addictive game where the main aim is to spank the monkey as fast as you possibly can. I have found a cool cheat for this. See if you can beat my record of 800+mph! Play now!

Mini Putt

Quite possibly the best flash mini golf game I’ve ever played.

Golf just isn’t golf if you don’t have to putt through a windmill or round a loop-the-loop! This game is very basic, but is extremely addictive. I’ve spent many hours on this game and I blame my bad grades on it!

Rocket Toilet

Spent many hours playing this.

Collect objects and upgrade your toilet in this distance challenge game! I’m still not 100% sure what the toilet paper does, but let’s face it if you get fired from a pressured pipe whilst sat on the toilet you’re probably going to need it!

Another favourite of mine.

This is basically a 3D pong type game which also allows you to curve the ball around to try and trick your opponent similar to how you can curve the ball in table tennis. This game was the bane of my life for around 6 months after discovering it!

First Person Tetris

A novelty Tetris game. This is a really cool take on the classic “Tetris”. The pieces stay in the same position, but the backdrop moves around as you rotate the pieces. Strange, but strangely alluring. I’ll admit it confused the crap out of me for a while until I got the hang of it! It’s nice seeing a NES and an old TV though!

1D Tetris

What’s your highscore? This is a pretty pointless Tetris game, but it’s still pretty fun to watch!

A tip for you… leave it running over night and come back in the morning. You could call that cheating, but hey, you can’t die in this game!

3D Tetris

This game is so unbelievably mind boggling and complicated that it was worth mentioning here.

I haven’t got past the first level yet. I’m still figuring out the controls! If you figure it out, please let me know!

Everyone has played PacMan at some point in their lives. Wagga Wagga Wagga Wagga Wagga Wagga Blip blip!

Release Date: 1980
Original Platform: Arcade

The first home video game. This is the one that started it all. Next time you’re playing Call of Duty in your underwear, give a little thanks to PONG. Without PONG you wouldn’t be sat there in your pants, drinking beer and arguing with some other fat kid in Italy about an illegal move. This is as close to the original as I could find.
Release Date: 1972
Original Platform: Arcade

Space Invaders

Quite possibly THE greatest game of all time! Destroy all the aliens before they reach the bottom of the screen. This game was that popular that it led to a 100-Yen coin shortage in Japan in the early 80s!
Release Date: June 1978
Original Platform: Arcade

Smash all of the rocks and space debris before it destroys you! I can remember playing on an original cabinet in some guys kitchen once. I thought it was great that that we had to put 10p’s in it, but he had the key to get them out!
Release Date: 1979
Original Platform: Arcade

Donkey Kong

You Stupid Ape! Control Jump Man (Yes, that’s what Mario was called before being called “Mario”) to save the Princess from a giant ape! Donkey Kong has to be one of the best examples of things being lost in translation. Called “Stupid Ape” in Japan, the games creators needed to translate the name to an English friendly name when it was launched in America in the early 80s. “Ape” translated as “Kong”, where as “Stupid” was incorrectly translated as “Donkey”. “Donkey Kong” has stuck ever since.
Release Date: 1981

Even though this game is nearly 30 years old, and older than I am, I can’t seem to escape it. I used to play this game all the time on my old Atari and in recent years, an old boss tried to explain to me how to code it in machine code. You are the frog at the side of the road. Get across the road and avoid all other obstacles.
Release Date: 1981
Original Platform: Arcade

Apple currently consists of Rhapsody as an application, which is a outstanding start out, yet it is at present hampered by the incapability towards retail store locally upon your iPod, and includes a dismal 64kbps bit selling price. If this modifications, then it will rather negate this usefulness for the Zune, nonetheless the 10 music per thirty day period will nonetheless be a huge moreover inside Zune Pass’ want.

  15. You really saved my skin with this information. Thanks!
